Jamuna Advani graduated in Nursing from Delhi University in 1958. She moved to the United States later in life. She has never lost interest in hobbies like painting, crafts, and golf. She has been a voracious reader of poetry, fiction and nonfiction since childhood. She loves Wordsworth’s poems and the Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore.
Her book, Land of the Dancing Deer, was released in 2010. Her second poetry book, Symphony of Heart Songs, was published in 2012. Her memoir, The Letter, has received positive responses from people in North East India.
At present she is working on her memoir and collection of poems. She is also member of various organizations including Story Circle Network and other local clubs.
