The Winterfest Celebration, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Four Points by Sheraton in Pleasanton blended the art and author series that began last August. The first phase, submission of art objects, ended at the October meeting. Each artist was represented in the final sixteen selections from more than sixty submissions.
The art was posted on this website to inspire members to contribute writings related to the photographs of art pieces. Over twenty members submitted poety, prose and musings. The original art pieces of ceramics, paintings, photographs, and quilting, were displayed at Winterfest. Thirty art-related writings were read by authors during the meeting. Sixteen pages of art and related writings are published here for your enjoyment.
